Sweet Sticks
A recipe with just two ingredients. Fast, simple and very tasty. For the photo shoot I made dozens…yet only a few made it to the pictures. While doing prep-work the kids ate them all!

Ingredients

  • 400 g butter pastry dough
  • 30 g powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Stretch the dough using a rolling pin to 0.5 cm thickness and cut into 2 cm (~1 in) wide strips.
  2. Twist each strip so that you get the form pictured. Alternatively, be creative!
  3. Oil a pan and lay the sticks in it, then bake for 15 min at 180 C. Preheat the oven.
  4. When cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  5. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

Keep the dough in the fridge. In order to stay in a particular shape it needs to be stiff.
